I have been driving since 1977 and working in the transport industry since 1985. My experience is expansive, including driving cars, riding motorbikes, skippering boats/yachts, owning and operating a limousine and coach company in Sydney, driving four-wheel drives, trucks and coaches of varying sizes. This provides learners with grounded, real-world knowledge and experience.

I have also contributed my time to the SES community, being a preferred driver for emergency response vehicles at Marrickville SES, where I was an active member. I currently hold a voluntary position with BCR Communities, volunteering my time to assist others.

I have lived experience working closely with Indigenous communities in Nowra and the Northern Territory, both urban and remote, reflecting a strong commitment to community-focused support.

As a mother of five and grandmother of fifteen, with over 30 years' experience as a qualified early childhood educator, I have specialised in trauma-informed and neurodivergent-friendly instruction. Hence, I understand the importance of patience, responsibility, and ensuring and empowering every driver to manage risks and return home safely.

Debstar Driver Training supports the commitment to reducing our impact on the environment by using environmentally friendly vehicles. Our aim is to reduce our carbon footprint by using the latest hybrid vehicles.
